The 6 week dog training course consists of private one on one training that is personalized to both yours and your dogs specific needs. The general way it works is we set up a consistent time to meet once a week for an hour to a hour and half each week for a duration of six weeks. DFDI follows a rubric and outline that we've carefully created however certain cases call for a specialized approach. In the less extreme cases we are very well equipped in training the Puppy Obedience LEVEL 1 & 2 , as well as Adult Dog Obedience LEVEL 1 & 2.

On the other end we do also work with rescue dogs and are very familiar with training in Introducing a new dog to a new home. We believe primarily in positive reinforcement and a slow approach for our training style however we also do adjust our approach according to the dogs we are working with. We will NEVER try anything without first talking to the owner in regards to their comfort. In regards to E-COLLAR training, this is usually never recommended by us here at DFDI, although we are trained in how to use these types of tools appropriately in the event an owner is interested in that type of training.
Puppy PLaytime
Puppy Social club is Designed Primarily for dogs a year and under with a few exceptions for dogs who are pre-approved for helping encourage proper social skills. The focus is to create an environment where puppies who are still learning how to socialize can go and learn proper social skills and minor obedience in a outdoor setting. We hold the social club at a private location that is invite ONLY. We do not post the address so that we do not get random dogs showing us so you can rest assure that it is more of a club type setting. It is a large open field that is a dog park type setting and has loads of space for your dogs to run and play safely. This event is held every Sunday from 4:00pm- 5:00pm and is 100% free!
